After a tough but thrilling week, 4 of the T-Tech team are proud to have completed a 550km bike ride along the West Coast of the USA.
The team, made up of Daniel, Adam, Sam, and Megan, endured a challenging route that took them through the hills and urban roads of San Francisco, along the Big Sur coast 1000ft above sea level, with a big finish on the Pacific coastline in Santa Monica. After 5 long days, the team proudly completed the ride amongst a group of 25 - all for the cause of London charity, Norwood.
Norwood is a leading charity that supports vulnerable children, families and people with learning disabilities. Their Family Services include children and family support, social work, an inclusive nursery, and special educational needs. Their Learning Disability Services include education, after school clubs & holiday schemes, transition, supported living, residential care, lifelong learning and health and wellbeing.
The team were lucky enough to cycle along side two service users of Norwood, riding the full distance in tandem, with the support of their fellow riders to cheer them along. An inspiration to the whole team, T-Tech have so far supported Norwood by raising over £10,000 - half of their set target. But there is still a way to go!
It's not too late to donate, and every penny donated really does change lives and maximise the potential of their service users. The team are beyond proud to have participated in this challenge for such a worthy cause.
